Welcome to the new website for the McHenry Viscounts Drum and Bugle Corps
 
The McHenry Viscounts Drum and Bugle Corps was formed in the early 1950's as an American Legion-sponsored parade corps from McHenry, Illinois Post #491.  In the late 1950's, the Viscounts became a competitive Class B corps and became the Sons of the American Legion Champions at the A.L. National Championships in Denver, Colorado in 1961.

SECOND ANNUAL MIDWEST DRUM CORPS ALUMNI PICNIC

An all-midwestern drum corps alumni picnic is being planned for Saturday, September 10, 2011 at a picnic grove located at 26034 Roberts Road in Port Barrington, IL.
